The author, who has gone on to other fields of creative expression, has fun with her own name and its connection to swans. A business envelope with her new address at the time is laid in. Early work by this designer and artist. Fine.

"One hundred and fifty copies of this essay, handset in Bembo types, were printed on Warren's Olde Style paper by Barbara Blumenthal at the Catawba Press, Northampton, Massachusetts. The illustration is reproduced from a drawing by Leah Palmer Preiss". The booklet contains an essay on books as objects, and is very fine in burnt orange wrappers, with the prospectus laid in. This is copy # 134, and is inscribed "To Deborah Benson Covington / 13 November 1980 / Barbara Blumenthal."

There is an essay on Claud Lovat Fraser and his bookplates, followed by 59 bookplate designs, 37 of them printed in full color. Spare spine and cover title labels are laid in, as well as a printed thank you card from Harold Berliner, Printer. Very fine in burgundy cloth on boards and translucent glassine dustjacket.
Madison, New Jersey: Golden HInd Press, 1954. 12mo, unpaged (12pp.) A note on the copyright page mentions that "these "Meditations" are selected from those used at The Community Church in Summit, New Jersey", a Unitarian church where Trapp had been the minister from 1945 to 1970. No limitation noted, but the booklet was "hand set in Cloister Oldstyle type and hand printed on dampened Ruysdael all-rag paper".Fine, sewn into tan wrappers with a small b/w title label.
