One fable from Aesop's "Selected Fables", translated by Roger L'Estrange and illustrated by Joseph Low. This single fable, #27 of 150 copies, was printed in Monotype Janson on Rives paper, for friends of the printers and the artist, with a color woodcut signed by Low. A single sheet of Rives paper has been folded twice to form a folder measuring about 12" x 9". In its original form, it was one of a number of signatures prepared by various artists and printers for the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company's portfolio "Homage to the Book". Fine in an unmarked protective black paper folder, slightly rubbed.
