RELATIVITY / THE SPECIAL AND THE GENERAL THEORY.
New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1921(1920). Third printing Octavo, xiii, 168pp., translated by Robert W. Lawson, and with a portrait frontispiece of Einstein from an etching by Hermann Struck. The cut-out front panel of the dustjacket is tipped onto the front free endpaper, and the lines and box border are printed only in black ink, which indicates, I believe, the third printing of the first American edition. The rest of the dustjacket is not present. There is a brown stain between pages 92 and 93 from a laid-in newspaper clipping about Einstein (now encased), and a tiny brown stain at the bottom corners of page 36 and 37, else generally clean and tight in deep blue ribbed cloth, spine ends fraying, light wear to corners.
