Bower was managing director of McKinsey & Company when he wrote this book, and was considered to be the top figure in professional management in the 20th century. The grey endpapers are very lightly sunned at the edges else internally as new in red cloth with the title stamped in white on the spine, and in a faintly soiled white dustjacket with several tiny tears to the top edge.
